Introduction to Ceramics: Form And Surface

The project themes is ‘Transcribe & Re-scale’ both form and surface designs. I will be using three key ceramic construction methods, hand-building, throwing and casting / the creative use of plaster, applying various surface techniques and glazing methods. I have been asked to produce a number of ceramic vessels or sculptures exploring the relationship between form and surface. My starting point will be to develop my ideas through research and sketching out vessel shapes and surface designs. This project will last for 3 weeks from 20/02/2019 (My Birthday!!)
